West Cork Rural Transport

Following on from invitations to submit applications for the Transport Co Ordination Unit for Cork County in line with the restructuring of the Rural Transport Programme nationwide, West Cork Rural Transport is to assume responsibility for the operation of Rural/Community Transport for the County of Cork

The management of the transport services is now under the National Transport Authority (NTA) The structural changes taking place nationally will not effect all current transport routes presently in existence. This will be the case for County Cork also. There will be an office based in Bantry and an office based in Fermoy to oversee the transport for the County.
